McCann was the same character friendly. One of his friends states that “Carl was a friendly, extremely popular, down-home sort of guy. ” Another similarity is that the many individuals thought their ideas were a little far-fetched. The same friend that stated he was friendly also considered him a little dream and out of touch with reality. When people found out of Chris Mishandles adventures and the end results, it is written that some believe that Chris was a man that was not mental stable. When to people are alike they also can be different.

Alaska they were both were destined for, and they both there remain were frozen hard as stone. I would like to discuss the difference I see between the two men. Believe that Mishandles was a more prepared man then McCann. Chris believe that he would make it out of Alaska that he could live in and with nature because he wrote to his many friends that he would like to see them soon. However Carl as it written he neglected to arrange for the pilot to fly him back to civilization at the summers end. Another difference I see between him and Mishandles is that he took his own life.

McCann placed the muzzle of the . 30-0. 30 against his head and jerked his thumb down on the trigger. We see that Chris had struggled to survive. Would say that Mishandles had a more determined spirit to survive. Overall I believe that it is very brave what these two men decided to do. Either way they both were set out on an adventure that would so to speak change their lives and where they would meet their ends. We can compare both of these intriguing individuals as well as point out the difference that have come across while reading it.
