My Personal Religious Beliefs

Table of Content

I have complete trust in an all-powerful and incomprehensible supernatural being. This divine entity manifests Himself to me through various extraordinary and even earth-shattering deeds, confirming His position as the ultimate creator and ruler of the universe.

He holds dominion over the entirety of humanity, every living being on this planet, and every occurrence that transpires. He bestows both triumph and disappointment. He has a magnificent fate mapped out for every person, but it necessitates our complete submission to Him. As someone who was raised in a Catholic household, I did not genuinely lead a life devoted to Christ.

I resided in less-than-ideal living conditions, but throughout my upbringing, I possessed a deep admiration and affection for God; however, no one ever enlightened me about Him. Consequently, I believed that He was solely someone to turn to in times of trouble. As I matured, I distanced myself from God, as I realized that He anticipated far greater dedication from me than I could offer.

Through my participation in church and devotion to God’s word, I underwent a profound change in my life. I cultivated a firm conviction in the unquestionable veracity and moral correctness of His teachings. As stated in the scripture, “When the Spirit of truth arrives, He will lead you into all truth” (John 16:13), it becomes clear that the Holy Spirit is essential in enlightening our intellects and imbuing our souls with heavenly truths.

God reveals His status as the supreme entity to humans through mysterious means. What other deity would design such a magnificent creature as the zebra? This animal possesses a unique and striking pattern with its dual colors. By faithfully following and placing trust in God, He will guide individuals and provide them with all the necessary knowledge.

The Bible urges us to trust wholeheartedly in the Lord and not depend on our own understanding. It guides us to seek God’s will in all areas of our lives, assuring that He will lead us (Proverbs 3:5-6). I strongly believe that God is always present to assist us with our difficulties, uncertainties, and aspirations. Ultimately, it is up to us whether we choose to follow the path that the Lord has laid out for us.

Believing in Jesus results in a deep change and revitalization. It leads to comprehension of God’s extraordinary plan and intentions for life. Giving priority to individual wishes directly contradicts God’s will, as nothing can exist without Him.

According to Psalm 119:160, all of God’s words are true and his just laws will endure forever. The authenticity of God’s word was further confirmed through the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the past. Despite this evidence, there were still some individuals who remained skeptical. However, in subsequent years, an elderly man stumbled upon additional scrolls while inside a cave.

The scrolls known as the Masoretic text validate the authenticity of the Dead Sea scrolls, as they perfectly align with their content. In our society, there is a noticeable abundance of people who exhibit excessive pride.

They claim to possess greater knowledge than my creator, boasting, “I surpass God in knowledge.” No debate can quell the skepticism of these individuals. No conceivable arguments can conclusively establish the existence of God. The most compelling evidence lies in the transformative power exhibited in people’s lives.

My life was changed during the summer after my sophomore year in high school as I witnessed God’s love through His creation and blessings. Even to this day, God answers my prayers and performs miracles, bringing healing to the sick. Additionally, He has planted a strong love for Him within my immediate family, sparking a passionate desire to worship Him.

Despite not directly seeing or hearing God, I am able to perceive His presence in my everyday life. My emotions serve as a means for me to assess the righteousness of my actions and thus, perceive His guidance. Trusting in God surpasses mere belief; it requires unwavering faith. Without faith, one is devoid of everything.

Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as having a strong conviction that our aspirations will be realized. Nevertheless, there are individuals with contrasting perspectives, such as Thomas Aquinas. Aquinas developed the Cosmological Argument, which is a logical reasoning in favor of God’s existence. He presented five primary points to bolster his argument, including one that focuses on the organization within the universe and its connection to its creator.

Based on the argument, it is asserted that no thing can cause itself and all things are caused by something else. Consequently, an infinite chain of causes cannot exist. Therefore, it was concluded that there must be a cause known as God, often referred to as the unmoved mover.

William Paley proposed that the universe exhibits intelligibility and design, resulting from the deliberate plan of an intelligent creator rather than mere chance. He identified four key indicators of design, the first being Design as Order. The presence of consistent physical laws demonstrates a systematic arrangement, where everything progresses in an orderly manner from beginning to end.

The universe is an immaculate design, devoid of any errors, if there are any at all. It follows its own natural course, shaping the mountains, carving out the ocean floor’s depths, and molding the hills and valleys across the continents.

The concept of design encompasses intricacy and magnificence. The intricate nature of the physical world and humans poses inquiries about their origins, as comprehending the emergence of such elaborate systems is challenging. Furthermore, the magnificence observed in humanity and the world at large acts as proof of an exceptional designer. It is inconceivable to envision the presence of something as splendid as our planet without the guiding presence of an infinitely mighty entity who conceived and shaped it.

Proving the existence of God is impossible; it requires faith instead. Convincing others to believe in the Lord involves a longing for deeper understanding and fear of potential consequences or sacrifices.

Jesus proclaimed, “I am the path, the reality, and the existence. Only through me can one reach the Father. If you have knowledge of me, you will also have understanding of my Father.” (John 14:6-7a). I maintain faith in the presence of a supernatural entity.

The Almighty, my God, is an extraordinary ruler who reigns over the earth and all its creatures. This divine being possesses the ability to revolutionize your world unlike anyone else. Despite this world’s potential for being lost, it remains capable of being found through one’s diligent endeavors.

‘God loved the world immensely, and as a result, He sacrificed His only Son. This act allows anyone who has faith in Him to avoid destruction and obtain everlasting life.’ (John 3:16)
