With two years of experience in IT, a longing to broaden my knowledge in Information Processing, and apply my creativity in the field of *****, I am excited to pursue a Master’s Degree in Management Information System from a prestigious institution in the United States and ultimately achieve a PhD.
Since I was young, I have been deeply passionate about conducting research and teaching in a field that I find extremely intriguing – the potential of computers. It has also provided me with an opportunity to showcase my innovation through my fourth Year project, which focused on “Online Tracking Using Multi-Modal Feature”. The primary aim of this project was to create face recognition and verification software utilizing image processing techniques.
Other than my regular college coursework, I have actively participated in technical organizations. This involvement has given me the chance to both organize and take part in various seminars and tech festivals. My membership with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and position as head of events for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) have specifically influenced my creativity in the technological field, while also promoting the development of my organizational skills and leadership abilities.
IT is essential in all areas of our lives. After completing my IT degree, I had the opportunity to delve into Information Management in the Telecom Domain. While working on the British Telecom project, my role involved creating the FLOW Stream Tool. The primary purpose of this tool was to automate broadband and VoIP service provisioning by converting customer input from Internet Service Providers into XML format and storing these files in extensive databases.
Working on this core product has allowed me to acquire valuable knowledge and experience in technologies such as Java, PL-SQL, and XML. Furthermore, interacting directly with clients has significantly enhanced my communication skills, ability to handle client requirements, and comprehension of overall business workflows. I have received numerous accolades from my company for my dedication to projects, strong work ethic, and effective problem-solving techniques including special customer appreciation awards.
Being part of a project filled with information processing has motivated me to further explore the topic of Information Management. The countless hours of dedication I have put into my education seem insufficient when confronted with the vastness of knowledge in the IT field. I am eager to push my limits and enhance my expertise in this subject.
