Organizational-Awareness is key to understanding the brake down of any system, or foundations. Relationship-Management includesone to influence others to keep evolving to a higher state of mind.

This involves one to coach andmentor children, adults, addicts, by sharing one’s story can help others grow emotionally. Teamwork is vital for the world to turn, communication nation-wide can help our country better understand emotional behaviors. The fourth prevention strategy is reappraisal, by vigorously changing the way one perceives emotional responses. Understanding our actions and adjusting the way we respond. Reappraisal is very valuable due to taking care of the core issue before one burst out of emotions (82). In order to achieve reappraisal, one must follow two steps. First step is when you’re facing a displeasing emotion, only think of the positive factors of the encounter.

Retrain your brain to be productive communication wise, and tackle displeasing situations. Second step is to think of the short and long-term effects of one’s actions, how will your actions now effect your future (83)?Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs & Experiencing Emotions.According to Saul McLeod, one must obtain the four levels of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Beginning with areas of deficiency that lead to the highest level of growth which is conquering one’s ultimate potential.

The level of deficiency is a must, its what makes one’s brainmature. When people are deprived from normal essentials not met, this will inspire one to meet the needs one is lacking. Like an onion everyone must develop these layers to acquire the ultimate growth, without one layer one would fail to grow properly. Harmful life situations loss of job, divorce, addictions can make one waver between levels. So, no one goes straight up the levels, one may waver up and down the levels with set backs in life. Major basic need is physicalsurvival, after that’s met, we move up a level (saul-mcleod.html). The first base level of the pyramid is physiological needs, main biologic necessities for humans to survive. Like water, food, clothes, shelter, warmth, sleep and sex. Third base level is love and belonging, socially one feels accepted loved by peers. Behavior is influenced by the need to have personal relationships with others. The forth base level is esteemneeds, two areas classified by Maslow, one is having self-esteem having independence, dignity, mastered of achievements.

Second area is the way others perceive you, how your respected and your reputation, these qualities are a must for one’s dignity or self-esteem. When all other needs are met one will acquire the fifth base level, which is self-actualization. When a person understands their own potential and how they can help the world. Once this stage is reached, one’s desires of everything one ever imagined to be, is reality (sual-mcleod.html). From the moment of birth are primal instincts are to communicate through facial expressions. From pursing our lip of revulsion and crinkling are nose, to the corners of our mouths raising with smiles of joy.

Baby’s in the womb can express disgust and distress, their first internal stages of life. Emotional facial expressions like happiness, surprise, or sadness can be imitated by newborns at birth. Babies were shown pictures of an angry face, and a happy face,the baby chose to stare at the happy image over the angry image. Are internal features being, a combination of cheeks, eyes, mouth and nose develops over time to create our emotional expressions. U.S. found that a child’s emotional regulation skills upgrade as they develop and constantly changes biological, cognitive, and socially. What one nation see’s as dysfunctional behavior, might not be considered the same in another! So, this can fully explain why across nations we experience and express emotions different (The British Psychological Society, 2012).

As a nation, we as humans can learn to be more open and understanding of other culturesand norms across nations. We must show unconditional compassion and empathy no matter the creed, gender, religion, or nationality. For one to gain emotional intelligence, one should consider these types of models I have explained above. We all derive the need to know who we truly are as humans, why we act the ways we do, evolving to revolve in a never-ending state in life. Therefore, I believe by obtaining Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and understanding the Hierarchy of Natural Systems, one’s emotional intelligence can be developed to the highest.
