The story examines two couples, which both live so closely to each other and are great friends but both have different lives. The Millers wish they had the lifestyle that the Stones have the holidays, adventures, and their home, through this the Millers become desperate and lost in the actions of living in the stones environment.

The story examines the tension between mother and son, and the unknown of another life that the son is living. Evan though the mother sees all the signs directing to something off in her sons life, she still can’t admit that her son is not the perfect little child that he once was. She constantly asks the question ‘why honey’, because she can’t understand the true capabilities of humans, especially in her own son.

She is afraid and fearful of the unknown, the unknown of maybe finding out the truth about her son.  Resolution – are things concluded, how/or why not?  No there was no resolution in this story, as her mum still ask the question ‘Why Honey? ’, she still doesn’t know who her son really is. The only bit of resolution that she has had is she is talking to someone Sir about it. This unknown writer still raises more questions in her life around her of what really is the truth, she is fearful of this truth that lie behind such a mystery.
