A nurse, who works in a hospital, refuses to treat a man who has HIVE. 2. An elderly woman in a Nursing Home requires the toilet. She cannot walk and will need the hoist in order to get to the toilet. She keeps on asking if she can go to the toilet, however she is ignored. A young man who has learning disabilities is not allowed to look after his own money. His mom gets his money paid into her bank account. The young man does not have enough money for food for college and will often go hungry. 4. An elderly man living in a nursing home wants to smoke. He is forbidden to do so by the careers as they do not want to take him. 5. A single mom with four children goes to the Doctors as she feels overwhelmed with the responsibility. The practice nurse tells her to pull herself together and says she shouldn’t have had that many children is she couldn’t cope. 30 learners with learning disabilities from a local residential college are going on a day trip to the local swimming baths. As they get on the bus, they are met with comments such as ‘You should all be on mini buses’ and ‘you lot shouldn’t be allowed on public transport’. Some people also riding the bus get off, as they do not want sit by the learners with the disabilities.
