A Discussion on Whether the Government Should Pay for Abortion or Not

Table of Content

I really diant know how to start this paper on abonion. Abortion seems to be a very controversial topic. Some people have even been murdered because they perform this surgical procedure on women who have requested it. ilAt the heart of The debate lies a fundamental difference in premises about when human life begins and Where governmentjurisdiction ends 1 with the result that even a well-intentioned debate Often degenerates into vehement and inflammatory rhetoricfl. My translation would Be no matter how much each side tries to understand the other, in the end there is no Compromise. A Simple statement says it all: Life vs. Death. Should the government Pay for a surgical procedure that condones death on one hand and on the other hand Allows the freedom of choice for the woman. Should a female not have the right to make? Decisions that will directly affect her physically and psychologically?

Can the government pay for this surgical procedure and maintain the privacy and autonomy of the female? Hopefully by the time this paper is completed you Will know my opinion and what my stand is on this controversial topic. When the United States Supreme Court ruled on the Roe vs Wade case in 1973 did this give women the constitutional right to abortion? Better yet, does it give awoman the right to have an abortion paid for by the taxpayers of the United States on one hand the government says you may legally get an abortion (with the Roe vs Wade decision) but then Congress enacted the Hyde Amendment which limits medicaid coverage for abortions.

But With restrictions She has had to take from her oWn pocket, which usually would go to the familyis food, rent, clothing, and other needs money. Which makes it even worst on the family I Health Insurance Is Not meant for Abortions Health insurance should not be used for a nonmedical surgery. Health insurance like Medicaid should be used for the healing of sickness. The pregnancy itself is not a sickness. Wich there for makes abortions a cosmetic surgery. Like breast implants and lace lifts. ,Abortion Will not restore a person from a state of sickness. The taxpayers money could be used for abortion, but not non-medical or convenience surgery when is it murder to take someonefls life With up to date technology we have the power to look at the fetus . Ultrasound is a better way to tell if the unborn child is developing normally.

Ultrasound helps to prove when It is right and Wrong for abortion. Because if the being is a fetus and got traits of living being that could be murder to have an abortion, or if the being is not got any traits of being alive. Then people can argue that abortion is not murder if its before the first trimester . Ultrasound can do a lot for the fetus. It can tell if your child is a boy or a girl it also can tell you if your child has any illness. With the help of a 3d ultrasound a mother Who already lost one son because of fetual disorders. Had found out that there new son that was 4 months along has had some disorders . Where the umbilical cord was rapped around the neck and that some organs were growing outside the body. The mother said DI realized that there was no way we could interrupt the pregnancy.
