Also due to public road everyone can drive past and see through the gatehouse and check if security is present or not.
I also want to bring Wilson management attention that the thieves can keep an eye on the gatehouse security and their partners can break in from the far end knowing that we are in the gatehouse. As soon as we leave the gatehouse for patrol, they get alerted from the people watching us. I didn’t wanted people to see me they will know there is only 2 guards and make it easier for them to break in. The point here is that after every 2 hours we are doing regular site patrols at (pm, alum, lam and so on) keeping it safe from damage or theft. Each patrol takes around 45-min.
The patrol checkpoints will give the information about it also. So the lam patrol was finished around am. But the Wilson patrol didn’t listen to our point and was only concerned about the light. He slammed the door on us and left the site. I’ve been a guard for close to 11 years and never in my life have I slept through a shift.
