This is the most important thing that I can contribute to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. While there are others who may have more talents and possess more skills than me, I firmly believe that what makes me an asset to your prestigious sorority is the fact that I offer something that nobody else can, commitment.
I do not speak only of being devoted to serving the sorority in however the sorority sees fit but I also speak of taking the initiative to do what I think will further the interests of the sorority and live up to the ideals that its proud founders had in mind when it was first started.I do understand however that it is also not all about being committed since even the most devoted person would not be able to contribute anything if she had no talents and all the best intentions in the world.
The reason I emphasize this however is because is what makes me different from the other people who wish to join your prestigious sorority.As for what I can contribute aside from my commitment, I can confidently say that I have had a lot of positive experience working in organizations and this experience has also helped in developing my leadership and organizational skills. As a member of my local community I have participated and initiated many of the charity events, the most notable of them being the blood drive and the breast cancer walk, which I personally organized.
My leadership skills are not the only thing that I can offer as I am also adept at coordinating and organizing events and probably the most important of all being my ability to be able to communicate effectively with not only members of my team but other people as well.For these reasons, I believe that I have a lot to offer the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and that I can contribute to its continued success in living up to its ideals and goals.
