You can choose to feel happy, sad, angry, or stressed about the certain situation or turn it around and focus on the positive. You can choose to be stuck in a bad situation or let go, move on, and not be bothered. Nobody can make you think or feel a certain. God gave you, your own emotions and brain in your body to make your decisions for yourself. You can live a positive lifestyle if you are willing to get rid of the negativity in your life, be comfortable in your own body, and share your positivity with others.

Have you ever thought about all the negative energy you have in your life? Most of the time we recognize it in other people’s life, but not our own. Negative energy can be present in several different aspects in our life, and we may not even recognize it. It can be a friend, a coworker, a bad habit, a job, a family member, or even a significant other. Getting rid of negativity in your life can be easy. First, you should be careful who you choose to be around. Positive energy attracts positive people, just like negative energy attracts negative people. Next, you must set healthy boundaries for yourself! If you don’t set yourself boundaries, you’re allowing anything and anyone inside your body and mind; you would not leave your house with your front door wide open, would you? Also, be cautious of your words, and what you say to other people. Once you release a word from your mouth, there’s no taking them back. You can always be sorry for the words you said, but the damage is already done, and you cannot fix that. You should always try to speak positive thoughts in someone’s life, and uplift someone, rather than bringing them down. Finally, sometimes the negativity can be so ingrained in our life, we have grown to be blind of it. So, take a step back and examine your life clearly.

Equally important, to live a healthy and positive life, you must feel comfortable in your own skin. This means not comparing yourself to others, and excepting the way you look, think and behave. When you are truly happy with yourself, you no longer have negative thoughts about yourself. After you free your mind from those negative thought your mind begins to fill with positive ones. One way to find yourself is to find a hobby that truly makes you happy. Its so easy to fall into the trap of everyday life, whether that be school, job, parenthood, etc.., and once we fall into that trap, it’s so easy to become depressed. When you finally have become happy with yourself, you will realize you no longer get bothered by people’s opinions or comments about you. Do not allow people to put you down for you being unique. Instead of taking those negative comments, turn them around and embrace yourself.
