In Act 3 scene 1, Benevolent reveals to the Prince that Table had slain Mercuric and fled. Benevolent says, “An envious thrust from Table hit the life of stout Mercuric”. (Act 3,scene 1, 164-165) Furthermore Benevolent had to explain what had happen in this brawl, he then reveals that Table had slain Mercuric, but Mercuric was the first to draw his sword. Also another reason why accidents was another cause of fate is when Romeo meets Juliet at the Capsules party and falls in love with here at first sight. Romeo says to Juliet, As younger lady o’er her fellows shows.
The measures done, I’ll watch her place of stand, And touching hers, make blessed my rude hand. Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I newer saw true beauty till this night. (Act 1, Scene 5, 48-52) Romeo finds out that there is a beautiful young lady at this party that he must see. When Romeo had found her it was love at first sight even though at the end of the party he finds out that the girls name is Juliet and is a Caplet an enemy of theirs. Therefore accidents was one of the main reasons why fate is responsible for the deaths of the two young lovers.
Bad timing was another force of fate responsible for the deaths of the two young lovers. The Friar Lawrence which is the priest of Verona was too late before Romeo had killed himself In the sepulcher. Friar Lawrence says, “Alack alack, what blood is this which stains The stony entrance of this sepulcher Romeo! O pale”! (Act 5, scene 3, 140-144)Along with this, Friar Lawrence came a few seconds after Romeo had poisoned himself, he saw Blathers outside and Romeo was inside on the ground dead. In addition from this scene Juliet had woke up a few seconds after Romeo had poisoned himself.
Juliet was not sure what was going on during that moment when she had waked up. When Juliet woke up she says, “O comfortable Friar, where is my lord? I do remember well where should be, And there I am, Where is Romeo’? (Act 5, Scene 3, 148-150) Therefore bad timing was another one of the forces of fate responsible for the deaths of the two young lovers. Passion (love) was another force of fate responsible for the two young lovers. Romeo was devastated that Juliet was dead, so poor Romeo wanted to be with Juliet so he drinks the poison him had gotten.
Romeos last words were, Thee here in dark to be his paramour For fear of that, I still will stay with thee, And never from this palace of dim night Depart again Here, here will remain with worms that are thy chambermaids. (Act 5, Scene 3, 105-109) Poor Romeo thought that Juliet had died because he didn’t get enough info from Friar plan so he had poisoned himself to be with her. Juliet passion of love for Romeo makes her think about how she can stay away from him a minute too soon. Juliet passion of love makes her say, “For a minute there are many.
O by this count shall be much in years Ere I again behold me Romeo”! (Act 1, Scene 5, 45-47) Juliet does not want Romeo to leave her sight even though he is the family’s enemy. Therefore Passion (Love), was another one of the causes of fate responsible for the death of the two young lovers. Fate is responsible in many ways for the deaths of the two young lovers, Romeo and Juliet. Passion (Love), bad timing, and accidents were some of the many reasons why fate was responsible. Fate was responsible in a couple of Ways, to help Romeo and Juliet be together.
