Even though he was accused of being a child molester, Michael Jackson was an inspiration to the music industry because he had won multiple music awards and he was also known as the king of pop.
Michael Jackson was born on August 25, 2009, and passed away June 25, 2009. He was born and raised in Gary, India. He was born to the parents Katherine and Joseph Jackson. He had eight other siblings, in which Michael being the second youngest. Michael’s family was already gifted in the music category, and at the age of just five he came together with his four older brothers and made a music group called the Jackson 5.
His dad was the person who had pushed them the hardest.They ended up soaring stardom when they signed a recording contract with Motown Records (Michael Jackson). The Jackson 5 was known as one of the nation’s greatest musical families in Rock and Roll. When Michael was 11 he was seen on national television for the first time.
In 1969, the Jackson 5 had made their number one hit with their song “I Want You Back.” When Michael was 14 he made his own album without his brothers. Jackson released several solo albums in the 70s, but his great breakthrough came in 1979 with Off the Wall (Michael Jackson is born).
A Jackson 5 cartoon series appeared in the early 70s, and in 1976 the Jackson family, including sister Janet Jackson, launched a TV variety show called The Jacksons that ran for one season. Social media mainly had their focus on Michael, for his astonishing vocals, especially when his voice went high in their song “ I’ll Be There” and “ABC.” This started his solo career without his brothers.
In May 1984 he contributed his song ‘Beat It’ to a national advertising campaign against drinking and driving. For his generous donation he got a Special Achievement Award, which was given to him by the one and only President Ronald Reagan. In July 1984, all of the Jacksons performed at Texas Stadium, in Dallas, and donated 1,200 tickets valued at $39,000 to underprivileged children (Michael Jackson’s Legacy).
On June 13, 2005, Jackson was acquitted of sexual molestation of a young boy, Gavin Arizo, in criminal court (Michael Jackson is Born). This accusation was made after he became friends with the young boy.
Jackson had supposedly invited him to his farmland with roller coasters, ferris wheels, and farm animals, located in Neverland. Luckily, Jackson’s lawyers had resolved the case and no charges were made. He had also been denied of hurting the 13-year old boy.
Between the 1980s and the 1990s, Michael Jackson had gotten a nose job and a facelift. He had other facial reconstruction so he would look like a “northern athlete.” Rumor has it that he lightened his skin by using chemical treatment.
He’s believed to have undergone the transformations to try to escape the traumatic recollection of his childhood and the constant reminders of Joe Jackson (Capital Lifestyle). Joe had tortured Michael for his features of being African American, according to Doctor Conrad Murray, his physician. This skin disease is called villigo.
January 31, 1993, Michael Jackson appeared in headlines from his awesome performance at the Super Bowl XXVII, during the halftime show. He came out with the opening of seeming to be shot across the football stadium all the way to the stage. He looked like a statue the way he was just standing on stage. He held that pose while the entire crowd jumped and shouted of joy for many minutes.
In 1994, Michael Jackson got married to a woman named Deborah Rowe. Through a procedure called artificial insemination, Michael and Deborah had two kids, Prince and Paris. They split up in the year 1999. Jackson got full custody of both children when the divorce was final. However, before he married Deborah, he was in love with Lisa Marie Presley, and they got married May 26, 1994. Lisa was Elvis Presley’s daughter. They later divorced in 1996. The one concert that had a special meaning to it was “This is It.” That was his very last concert. He was ready to call it quits from the show business and retire in 2009.

The drugs he found included a very dangerous one called propofol. This drug is known to help people sleep through surgeries. Conrad prescribed him that often because it helped him sleep at night. In 2011, Michael’s doctor, Conrad Murray, had been pronounced guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Millions of fans were completely crushed when they heard the news on social media. His fans had a beautiful memorial for him and his kids came. In 2009 they spoke to fans at Jackson’s funeral. In January, 2010 they also spoke when they accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award that was rewarded to their father.
Michael Jackson continues to leave his mark on the world even though he isn’t here with them physically. He still inspires his fans through his music, and will go down in history as one of the greatest. Even today you hear his songs on the radio.
