Shortly after Marco sights his new found love he rapidly introduces himself and asks Ariadne to dance with him. She rejects his proposal and this starts off the struggle between the two characters. Even after loud rejections, abuses and being punched in the face, Marco is still determined to win Ariadne’s fondness. Marco meets with her male parent to learn more about his enigma adult female but the old adult male discourages him stating that she can non cook, is bad tempered, violent, and obstinate.

Marco presses on inside the food market shop seeking to acquire Ariadne to come and run into him. She refuses yet once more but Marco retreats to the street where he begins to name out her name. He is met with a shower of objects from the window thrown out by Ariadne. Marco returns to the shop that flushing to happen that she is waiting for him at the church with Father Malas, Uncle Paul and Mr. Langos, her male parent. Once inside Marco states his love for Ariadne merely to be threatened and told to remain off from her by the three work forces. Marco realizes that he can non do them understand and starts for the door after a ardent address of his passion for Ariadne.

The high point comes merely after Marco caputs for the door Heart broken that he failed. Suddenly, evidently impressed with Marco’s motive and echt love, Ariadne calls to him that he may name on her the following twenty-four hours.

Uncle Paul, Father Malas and Mr. Langos spat in the background as Marco leaves the church exhilarated that he has eventually won her over.

The mighty Spartan, Marco Palamas, is the supporter of the narrative.
