To Compare Two Major Systems of the Human Body

Table of Content

Have you ever wondered which body system helps bring oxygenated and deoxygenated blood to the heart? Well that system is called the Circulatory System or the Cardiovascular System. Have you ever wondered which body system helps bring air into the lungs? That system is called the Respiratory system. You are probably wondering why I am mentioning the Respiratory and Circulatory system? I am talking about them because, these are the two system that I am going to be comparing and contrasting in this essay. The Circulatory system is responsible for the transport of blood throughout the body.

The Circulatory system has many organs. The main components are the heart, the blood, and the blood vessels. It also consists of arteries, arterioles, capillaries, and veins. It also consists of the superior vena cava, interior vena cava, right ventricle, left ventricle, right atrium, left atrium, aorta, and the septum. The functions of the Circulatory system to circulate blood through out the body and delivers nutrients and other essential materials to cells. It also helps remove the waste products out of the body. The three main functions of the Circulatory system is the heart, the blood, and the blood vesels.

The importance of the Circulatory system is to deliver blood to the organs and all the other parts of the body. It is also important because, it delivers pure blood through out the body and receives oxygenated blood from them back to the heart. The heart is the pumping organ which pumps the blood to all parts of the body. The circulatory system helps keep the human body healthy because, it circulates blood throughout the body and helps to deliver nutrients and other essential material to the cells. The Circulatory system is responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body.

It transports nutrients, water, and oxygen to your billions of body cells and carries away wastes such as carbon dioxide that body cells produce. The body’s Circulatory system has three distinct parts; the pulmonary, coronary, systemic circulation. The pulmonary circulation is the lungs, the coronary circulation is the heart, and the systemic circulation is the rest of the system. Each part must be working independently in order for them to all work together. The Respiratory system is an integrated system of organs involved in the intake and exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between an organism and the environment.

Your Respiratory system is made up of the organs in your body that help you breathe. The Respiratory system is the system of the body that deals with breathing. The trachea is a wind pipe. The trachea is a pipe shaped by rings of cartillage. A Bronchi are two tubes that carry air into the lungs. The Respiratory system consistes of many different organs. The organs are the lungs, trachea, bronchi, alveoli, diaphragm, nose, mouth, and pharynx. In the Respiratory system the right lung is larger and has more lobes that the left lung becuase the heart is normally located on the left side, and takes up space where the lung would had been.

The functions of the Respiratory system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all parts of the body. The Respiratory system is also used for the of exchange gases. The importance of the Respiratory system is that it allows for the exchange of gases; meaning carbon dioxide and oxygen. These gas exchanges occur in the alveoli’s and the capillaries. This gas exchange of gases is the Respiratory system’s means of getting oxygen to the blood. The goal of breathing is to deliver oxygen to the body and to take away carbon dioxide.

Breathing is initiated by the diaphragm, which is a stretchable muscle under the lungs. When it contracts, the volume of the chest cavity rises and the air pressure drops. That is what helps the high pressure air outside, to enter the lungs and makes them expand. The difference between the Circulatory and Respiratory system is that the Circulatory system carries blood throughout the body and the Respiratory system is the exchanges of gases between the blood and air. The Respiratory system is your breathing system and the Circulatory system is your blood system.

The Respiratory system brings air into the body and releases waste carbon dioxide back into the air while the Circulatory system transports blood throughtout the human body and consists of blood, arteries, veins, and capillaries. The Circulatory and Respiratory system work together to keep the human body healthy by supplying oxygen to all the cells in the body. It also helps to keep the human body healthy by removing Carbon Dioxide and to regulate the pH of the body fluids. Also they work together to remove any waste products the body does not need so that the body can stay healthy.

If your Circulatory system stops for more than a few minutes or, the Respiratory system stops the lungs will completly collapse and fail to function, all tissues, especially the brain will not get enough oxygen and death will follow as the brain’s breathing center dies and so does the person. The difference between the Respiratory and the Circulatory system’s function is that the Circulatory system removes waste products and circulates blood throughout the body and delivers nutrients and other essential materials to cells.

The function of the Respiratory system is the exchange of gases. Also to supply the blood with clean oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all parts of the body. In conclusion, the Circulatory and Respiratory system has many similarites and differences. One similarity is that both major body systems have a specific job(s) that help to keep the human body healthy. One difference is their functions; the Respiratory system is the exchange of gases and to supply the blood with clean oxygen in order to deliver oxygen to all parts of the body.

The Circulatory system is to remove waste products and to circulate blood throughtout the body and delivers nutrients and other essential materials to cells. The Circulatory system is important because, it delivers pure blood through out the body and receives oxygenated blood from them back to the heart. The Respiratory system is important because, it allows for the exchange of gases; meaning carbon dioxide and oxygen. The Circulatory and Respiratory system are both important because, they help to keep the human body healthy.
