Who do you think should be on Mount Rushmore? The people on Mount Rushmore right now have all done many things to help others in our country. I feel that Martin Luther King jr., Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Jesus should be on there. Something that they all have in common is that they helped the world in some way. I think that Jesus Christ should be on Mt. Rushmore. I think he should be on there because of some of the things he did. He was a spiritual teacher who preached the gospel of faith, love, and forgiveness. His life and teachings led to the creation of a new religion, Christianity. Christianity became the dominant religion all around the world. He saved all of the people on Noah’s Ark. That was a very important thing because Jesus flooded the Earth and then told Noah to build an Ark.

So he did and he put two of every animal and all of his family on the boat. Then Jesus flooded the Earth and they stayed on the boat for 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, performed miracles, and founded the first church. Those are the reasons that I think Jesus should be in Mt. Rushmore. I also think that Martin Luther King Jr. should be on Mt. Rushmore. I think this because he was the most influential civil rights activist. His passionate but non-violent protests helped to raise awareness for racial inequalities. He also was a very fluent public speaker who captured the imagination and hearts of people, both black and white. His speeches also inspired lots of people to side with him and his idea of racial inequalities. His Montgomery bus boycott succeeds and also lasted for three years and because of a civil rights movement. Martin was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on Soul Justice.
