As a young person, I discovered the significance of education in shaping one’s life and the crucial role language plays in achieving success. Initially uncertain about its importance, my experiences with different educational systems and real-life language situations have helped me understand the path I should follow. I now appreciate how education opens up immense opportunities for all children and equips individuals to effectively communicate in personal contexts.
Based on my extensive research on scholarships in Hong Kong, the most suitable option for me is the Belt and Road Scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to pursue my educational goals by studying in Hong Kong, specifically in the programs I have applied for. After finishing my studies, I aspire to become a teacher or professor specializing in class management and delivering adaptable and inspiring instruction to students.
While studying abroad in Idaho, United States as an exchange student, I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in diverse cultures and overcome language barriers. The school provided a wide range of classes that sparked my curiosity and allowed me to explore various subjects. It was during this experience that my passion for communication and education began to blossom.
During significant events such as the passing of Thailand’s late king and class selection, I had interactions with school counselors which further fueled my interest in psychology. Their ability to connect with students intrigued me.
More recently, I participated in an academic exchange program in Japan and also took part in a language and cultural exchange program in England.
As a final-year student at [redacted] High School, I am currently enrolled in the science school curricula. To enhance my scientific skills, I conducted research on a natural sweetener called “Monk Fruit Sweetener.” Over the past two years, I have received certificates of recognition for academic excellence and improvement. Additionally, my GPA has consistently remained at a good level. My enthusiasm for learning extends beyond the classroom as I actively participate in various school activities. In fact, during the 2019/2020 academic year, I was selected to be part of the Student Council.
During my time in Thailand, I had the opportunity to participate in two voluntary works organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association for the Volleyball Nations League. In 2018, I served as a liaison officer for the Dominican Republic team, and in 2019, I joined as part of the fan service crew.
While living in the USA, I also became a member of the Key Club. This service club allowed me to take part in two significant campaigns: UNICEF donation for maternal and child vaccination and the Pop tab campaign.
Overall, all of these experiences have played an essential role in shaping my character and aspirations. They serve as constant motivation for me to pursue education diligently and achieve success within my chosen career path.
My academic goal is to earn a scholarship to study in my chosen programs, while also keeping my options open in a wider field. Once I graduate, I hope to pursue either a master’s degree in a related subject or seek employment at an educational institution in Hong Kong or Thailand. I am confident that I can enhance my skills to contribute towards improving education. Therefore, I sincerely hope that the University of Hong Kong carefully considers my application and eagerly awaits an offer from them.
