This opportunity will be more than just reading from a text book or being lectured to in a classroom. It will be more likely to impact me by giving me new ideas through experience than if I was just told about them. Being directly involved directly in a cause I will be more motivated to make a difference in people’s lives and may become more passionate in the career field I am choosing. I believe I will better define my place in society and how my actions can make a difference in the lives of others.
