In English 87 with Mrs. Lay, I had to do some practices on chapters 13 and 14 of the Vocabulary book: “Groundwork for a better Vocabulary, Third Edition. ” I was really stressed out because at that time I didn’t had the book with me, and I had to research the chapters online. After researching the chapters online I had to study them but I had no time to do the practice because I was at work.

I also had to do the Reading Lab practice/test online. It was very stressing because I had to finish block number three in less than one hour.Last I had to study chapter 5 of the book: “Groundwork for college Reading, Fourth Edition. In History 120 with Mrs.

Lopez, I had to do a three papers and one presentation. Those papers were about 3 to 6 pages long. It was very difficult and stressing to do them because I didn’t have any idea of how to describe what a book was about and how make biography. The first paper was about a book named “The Scarlet Letter.

” That book is practically about a woman that didn’t have any rights. The other paper was a biography of Elizabeth Blackwell. I also had to finish a power point presentation about Elizabeth Blackwell that at least lasted ten minutes long.It was kind of difficult for me to do that because I had no idea of how to make a power point presentation and add sound or add videos.

So I had to look into the internet to make sure I was doing it right. For English 97 with Mr. Simon, I had to rewrite a Frustration paper because I didn’t have a good score on my first paper. In that same week I had to study hard for my second quiz, because on the first one I fail it.

Second that same day I had a lot of stress at work. I work in a Custom House broke. I had a lot of stress at work because two of my co-workers called in sick. Practically I was doing all the work by my own.

When I got to work, my boss told me that she was feeling sick too, and she was leaving for the day. I thought that was a good idea, because my boss was leaving and I could study a little bit more for my quiz. Not even thirty minutes passed and the receptionist say to me that she had a doctor’s appointment and she was leaving too. That day was very stressing, because I was alone at work for eight hours.

It was really stressing to be doing all the work by my self. In a regular day at work, my co-workers and I usually do over seven to ten importations, including all the paper work for the trucks to come to the US.I remember that it was probably 5:00 pm and I received fifteen invoices of onions. Each invoice is a truck with approximately 855 sacks of white or red onions.

In order for the trucks to cross on time, I had to revise all invoices and drivers information. Some of the drivers had the wrong visa/ passport number updated in the system. So I had to revise them all and correct some of their information. At that moment it was already 5:30 pm, so I just had 30 minutes to submit all the invoices information in the ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) system.

At this time I was running out of time. There was something wrong with the internet connection, because I did not receive any response back from the port of US Customs. I was also really nervous, because if I placed a wrong plate number on the system, the trucks were not going to cross and practically my boss would be very disappointed at me. Finally, that day I had a terrible car accident.

It was already 6:00 pm and I had to be at school at 6:30 pm so I was attempting to make a left turn to highway 7 to go to school. I began to make a left turn when out of the sudden something crash into my car, and it completely destroyed the front window. It was a very windy day so I thought that I traffic signal fall into my car because I couldn’t see anything because the steam was getting in my car. When I got out of the car the first thing that I saw, was a man laying down next to my car with a motorcycle all crash out.

I couldn’t believe that I got hit by a motorcyclist. The first thing that came to my mind was that I needed to help that men but I couldn’t do anything for him since I am not a paramedic. His left leg and left arm were complete shattered. So, I called 911 to get an ambulance.

At this time I was telling the man not to move but he didn’t pay any attention to me. I didn’t know what to do or what to say. I couldn’t cry or even talk. I was in completely shock.

So, I when to see my car that was standing in the middle of the freeway and it was completely crashed. The entire front bumper was totally crashed and the window was completely broken. I couldn’t believe that nothing had happened to me. Minutes passed and an ambulance and a helicopter finally arrived.

The Helicopter took Mr. Compean to Phoenix, Arizona because in El Centro Regional Medical Center didn’t have al the necessary equipment.Mr. Compean was very injured.

At that moment I couldn’t talk I got really traumatized by the accident. I wasn’t able to drive for a whole week. I couldn’t even saw a motorcycle because I got goose bumps. So, at nights I began to have anxiety attacks.

I couldn’t handle it anymore, so I decided to go to therapy. I when to therapy for two sessions and my psychologist recommend me to start driving again and not to be remembering the accident. Since the accident I have been having therapy twice a week for the last month In conclusion on April 7th, 2011 was a very bad day for me.
