In the drama & # 8220 ; Macbeth, & # 8221 ; there are many interesting subdivisions which could be concentrated on due to the suspense and the engagement of supernatural things. The usage of the occult in the signifiers of enchantresss, the visions, the shade, and the phantoms is a cardinal component in doing the construct of the drama work and in doing the drama interesting. Looking through each Act and Scene of the drama, it is noticed that the occult is decidedly a major factor on the drama & # 8217 ; s manner.
The first usage of the supernatural occurs at the beginning of the drama, with three enchantresss foretelling the destiny of Macbeth. The phantom is stating that he will ne’er be defeated until Great Birnam wood shall come against him to High Dunsinane Hill. & # 8220 ; Be king of beasts melted, proud, and take no attention who chafes, who frets, or where conspirers are: Macbeth shall ne’er beat vitamin D until Great Birnam wood to High Dunsinane Hill shall come against him. & # 8221 ; ( Act VI, Scene I, ll.98-102 ) . These visions convinced Macbeth that this was his destiny and became over confident, and lead him to his decease.
The usage of the supernatural in Macbeth consequences rather good with the regard of the unknown.
