This whole process is accomplished through web-based interfaces.
The Internet can be regarded as cheaper and improved version of the self-education resources. The manual procedure used for conducting exam registration is time consuming process and error prone due to human limitations. The system purpose is to completely automate the old manual procedure of doing exam registration to online web Based Exam system. They include the Roll no, First name, Last name, User name and Password. The software also provides a facility for editing the student details if required. This Online Exam registration Software in PHP and MySQL has a feature called “Student Authorization”. The student who wants to write the exam will have to register their details. The system built is to be used by students and managed by an administration. The student has to login before any processing is to be done.
The register maintain the details and view all the students who have registered to paper for an exam. Exam registration system automates the system, rechecking the inclusion of all details, automatically initializing the date of exam and other details. Admin checks out to see if the fee is paid, based on which to check out if the hall ticket has already been issued. The user will register with the system by providing personal information such as name ,date of birth, gender, subject, and registration number. Upon the successful payment of fees and given the relevant student details, the student will be issued the hall ticket.
Only registered student’s can attend the exam. Using certain cryptographic techniques the details of students is being fed in. Since the system is known, the school will have an interest of using this system because it is important to encourage school to improve the services delivery where students will know the information of starting and ending of the registration without physical barriers.
In fact, the current system used to make registration, was a method which was based on process of taking long time where the students have to pick up the application forms from registration office in order to know the information about the requirements and recommended to fill them. After they take them back and wait for feedback. Usually, this system increases the delay in delivery, because the authority in charge receive many application forms and take long time to analyze each case. So as result students have to wait until the end of the process and once the feedback comes, they have also to come again for it.
That is why this new system can be applicable for institutions with a larger number of students to allow the management to receive the number of students in short time and this improve the speed of service from the school and conduct to customer satisfaction. (www. ergonomics. com) 1. 2 Statement of the Problem According to my case study (RTUC) faced some problems of existing system, including the time taken to the academic staff to set admission forms and the method used on finance department to control whether students paid the fees before assessments and the way of monitoring marks of students, all hose were not easy to control using the RTUC system. Here my project is reliable system of security of all those issues, is trusted such that the students are being sure that their exam registration are done and that they can be recovered in the event they need. In addition to that, the above mentioned method took a long time to achieve the job since there were so many students to be checked on the basic paper (traditional way of use) . Therefore services offered by those students were very slow and the online exam registration system was found to be the best solution.
Basing to the development of my institution and rapid growth of the students population , the innovation in control is highly needed especially in public areas by introducing the system of online exam registration purposely to avoid the entrusted information from human being. 1. 3 Objectives of the Study 1. 3. 1.
