He should be responsible as being an employee when he is working in a company.Responsibility can be classified as obvious responsibility and obscure responsibility. Obvious responsibility regards as the responsibility which is clearly stated. For example, when an authority orders you to do something, it is your responsibility to complete the task.

This type of responsibility is obvious and clear as the order or command is clear and direct. The person being ordered can directly be understood what he should do and thus, respond in a proper way. One of the best examples to illustrate obvious responsibility is the responsibility of a person to obey laws of the society.According to the social contract theory of John Locke (1689), an English philosopher, he suggested that people gave up some rights to a government in order to receive social order.

As a result, everyone in the society has the obligation to follow the order of the government and especially to obey the written laws and rules stated in the statute. The results and punishments are also clearly stated for not obeying this responsibility. Another type of responsibility is the obscure responsibility. Sometime responsibility of a person is not clearly stated as a form of orders, rules or regulations.

The responsibility of a particular person may be hidden underneath the norms of organization and society. As mentioned above, someone will have his responsibility as a father when he is in a family. But the exact content..

. Responsiblity often plays an important role in the quality of a person’s life. Being on time will show your employers that you are consistant and you can be someone they can depend on. It also shows you care about your job, and you want to be there.

It also makes a good impression on supervisors. In turn, it will reward you in the future.Whether it range from a pay raise, or promotion. This in my opinion is my “definition” of responsibility.

This goes parallel with independence, metaphoracally speaking. Independence is also a part of being an adult. It means you shouldn’t (100) have to rely on others for support. To be independent it means you do what you know how to do in order to survive in the world.

In turn with being responsible, it means you have to work to make ends meet. Not being on time for work; or showing your peers, supervisors, or even family members will show that you dont have respect for yourself or the others around you.In most jobs, the failure to be responsible will burn most adults out. Most people will say a person is an adult when they turn 18.

I (200) don’t see it that way. A person can be 18 or 28 and not be an adult. Being an adult to me means doing the right thing. It means taking responsibility for you own actions.

A soldier can not exceed in the United States Army, if he or she is constantly late or at the wrong place. A soldier who wants to succeed in the military and further himself or herself must go out of his or her way to get squared away on his or her place of duty. This concept goes is vital in the military and for (300) any person in any career. If an individual can not carry out the one most simple and most important tasks of being a soldier, he or she will be considered a “dirt bag”.

This goes along with the phrase “We are only as strong as our weakest link”. In theory, the military itself is alot like clock work. And nothing works right if a peace of the watch is missing the clock does not work. So being on time makes.

.. “Property accountability is a crucial part of the Army’s process for resetting the force. The greater visibility we have into the location and status of our assets, the better prepared we will be overall.

” -Lt. Gen. Mitchell H. Stevenson, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Logistics, G-4 If soldiers weren’t held accountable for property that they were issued, no one would have anything.

All soldiers are issued gear which they will need either down range or in the rear. Thus they need to know where their equipment is. So they can use this equipment when they go to a range to qualify, or rucking over ten miles.Little things such as canteens, PT belts, or even gloves can help so much when that soldier needs it.

But when it comes down to sensitive items, soldiers are liable for them especially when it can mean life or death. Property accountability comes down to one simple fact, if it’s gone, you’re screwed. Until you can find it, you can’t just stand around and wait for it to show up again. Soldiers who lose items will have to eventually pay up to the Army.

They even face the fact they will lose money for something that could they should’ve been able to prevent from being lost in the first place.Soldiers cannot afford to lose property, especially soldiers who are brand new to a unit or just coming out of basic training and advance individual training. When these new soldiers lose such items, they will be held accountable and they will be branded as someone who doesn’t keep track of what they’re doing. Plus they just started their own career, even if they don’t plan on staying in the Army.

It is also important to have property accountability because that soldier can tell their platoon sergeant, section sergeant or platoon leader that their property might be ineffective to them. When such thing happens, that property can be replaced if such replacement is found. This will help such soldier if it pertains to their equipment such as ruck sacks, canteens, and e-tools. Property such as Kevlar or ineffective body plates will definitely need to be replaced because such faulty equipment can cause a life or death situation especially when down range.

Weapons are such required equipment that soldiers must keep a daily preventive maintenance system (PMS). Faulty weapons can lead to a malfunction, or jam during a training exercise or even a live event which is a life or death situation. If such things aren’t done that soldier is responsible for what happens to him or herself. But this includes their section sergeant, team leaders’ incapability to do a daily check on their soldier.

They should be held accountable for this because they were being complacence towards their soldiers who they should deal with on a daily basis. Property accountability allows the supply section to decide whether to get new equipment to replace the equipment that has been used for a long time. This way the supply section can keep unit readiness. Such equipment can contribute to successful completion of the unit task or objectives.

Units can maintain equipment cohesion with these ways. It also allows leaders to know whether they have the money to replace equipment that is actually not accounted for. The Army spends a lot of money on equipment and belongings for the soldiers, so the Army expects to know where its equipment is. Someone is always responsible for equipment in the Army no matter who they are.

It goes to the highest officer to the lowest enlisted soldier in the chain of command and back up again. Accountability is used in many different ways, for example knowing if something is missing you could easy look at the accountability report to see who had it before. If someone stole a piece of equipment, that person will be held accountable and will be known as an untrusted individual or individuals. This way soldiers cannot be running around trying to take something that never belonged to them in the first place.

“I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself. ” – Soldiers creed. It is one of the first things we are taught joining the Army. Even before basic training, soldiers are taught this immediately to remember it.

Learning this allows soldiers to be held responsible for their actions with their gear, and even themselves.
