My story takes place in the great city of Athens, Greece. Athens was a very well- known city especially in Greek mythology, but now people are too consumed in their gadgets, but l’m getting ahead of myself. I am Tibus, an orphan, whose main dream is to become a legend. I asked many people in my society if they knew my parents, but they all said no. I promised myself that I will find my parents and make them proud.
I left the orphanage and went around the city looking at statues of the Greek gods. I believe that they once lived and some may even be living among us. I believe that they are protecting the humans from powers never meant to be used for harm. I walked upon the statue of Hades, but something weird happened, it began to move and it told me that I was next in line. I ran to my orphanage and told the orphanage mother what had happened to me and she said I knew this day was coming. She held upon me and we began spinning. Next thing I remember me and my orphanage mother were standing on clouds. She told me to walk into the castle, I asked her was she coming, but she said that was as far as she could go. I went inside the castle and there were men and women resembling the statues that I have seen many times. I walked to the center between all of these familiar people and one of the men walked toward me. The man had lightning flowing around him and started talking to me saying that he is the great and powerful Zeus. I gasp because I always believed that the gods still lived among the living. Zeus told me that Hades wants me because he needs an heir to keep his kingdom of darkness alive. I asked why he did not keep me as a child, he said because Hades, and my mother, Nemisis had bigger plans for me and being raised by them would just outcast me from the other gods.
I asked Zeus why unlike other gods I do not have powers; he told me that I have just been domesticated for too long. While Zeus and I were talking a ghost-like figure appeared it grabbed me by the neck and drug me down into the ground. I was released from the ghost’s grip and I fell on hot coals, but it did not burn my skin. I looked around the new environment the ghost took me to and then I heard a very evil sound. A man said hello son to me and I faced the man, he looked like the tall version of me. I said “father I am ready to reign by your side”. Hades smiled and asked me how could we destroy the humans and I told him to kill the humans with something they have grown attached to like their IPhones, Blackberries, and other electronic devices. We put a ghost app in each gadget and when the humans push the button their souls were drained and their bodies were ours to control.
Zeus arrived to the land of the humans after we turned all young humans into zombies. I zapped me with a lightning bolt, but I was not scarred. I reached deep inside my soul and all of a sudden a huge amount of power escaped my fingertips and struck Zeus. Zeus was knocked unconscious because my power was far superior then his. Hades kicked Zeus because this was the only time he could feel superior then his older brother.
I was surprised at how much power the god of the underworld and the goddess of revenge child’s power could be. My father and I ruled the world and the gods could not stop us because I could annihilate any of them with a snap of my finger. I asked my father was he proud of me and he said yes.
