Reflection Questions

In at least one paragraph, which career category did your survey responses reveal? Discuss whether you agree or disagree with the results of the survey and why. Based on my responses, my greatest likelihood of success may be in the career category, Investigative, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional.

I agree and disagree with these results. I agree with social because enjoy being around other people and it falls under the careers that I choose, because you need social skills to work with others in the medical field. I also agree with conventional because I tend to work better with having set rules and I like working with data and details rather than ideas. I disagree with investigative because I’m not into investigating. And I disagree with enterprising because I’d rather work under someone than be the leader, I don’t like to take on too much responsibility.

In at least one paragraph, which of these two career paths is more interesting to you? In your response, be sure to address the following: factors that influenced your choice, like family concerns, housing, or finances how your choice may change over time

how this career path compares to the future job you had in mind before the survey A nurse midwife is more interesting to me because they have a bigger salary and more benefits .Another reason why I would prefer to be a nurse midwife rather than a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse is because nurse midwifes are more hands on and work with the patient more than a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse. I want to be a specialty doctor in the future and this job will be good experience and will teach me what its like to work in the medical field

In at least one paragraph, how do the potential costs and benefits of each career path affect your choice? This job takes a lot of school and school is expensive now. In the future I will make money and well be able to pay off student loans. The potential cost will not change my mind at all about this career . I know in the long run there will always be jobs in the medical field.
