Aim and purpose The aim of this unit is to enable learners to understand the stages of recruitment and selection. Learners will learn about the processes involved before a vacancy is advertised and the reasons why businesses might need to recruit additional staff. They will learn the difference between the vacancies advertised inside and those advertised outside the business. As part of this process learners will become familiar with the different paperwork that is involved during the selection and recruitment process. Assignment 1: Know the processes involved in recruitment planning (Pl) Scenario

You work for a recruitment agency and have been asked to carry out some research into how organizations plan recruitment using internal and external sources. You have been asked to identify at least two organizations and prepare a presentation to inform your colleagues of your findings.
