Intro: English is the dominant language in the United States and so English is generally yet
unofficially claimed as the global language. United States, which is considered as a global superpower and the most influential country in the whole world because of their growing economic and cultural influence, plays an important role in language acquisition. The America’s global sense of competitiveness made their English language recognized in every country. English language now is known as the dominant international language used in communications, technology, science, business, entertainment and government. To be globally competitive, knowing and speaking English became an automatic requirement in a number of fields like education, occupations and professions. However some contemporary world in different countries argued that to require English as the global language may mean giving a little detachment to their native language and culture eventually. As they use and understand English language, they might get attach to the Western culture and eventually conform to the thoughts and material things it promises.
Thesis statement: It is unavoidable to adapt the reality that English is the world’s most
widely spoken language since it basically plays a significant role in the construction of global unity and of social, economic and cultural development which supports life as a whole.
Body: To learn and to know English language will basically give you many opportunities.
1. English proficiency will make one acquire many career choices and opportunities.
