Music is a widespread art form found in different cultures and social settings around the world. With the availability of free stations and apps, anyone can easily access music without paying. This accessibility makes music a source of entertainment that brings people together, regardless of their understanding of rhythm, beat, or tone. Additionally, music includes various genres and can be interpreted in numerous ways.
Although we all have different preferences, by exploring diverse options, we can find common ground and embrace our individual identities. Personally, music is crucial in my life – as vital as air itself. It has always been with me and fulfills a basic necessity. I rely on music for various reasons: it helps me shift my emotions from sadness to joy or from joy to exhilaration. By connecting with a particular song, band, artist, or genre, music allows me to revisit past memories and experiences.
Music serves as both a form of self-expression and a means to showcase my identity, reflecting who I truly am. It provides unwavering support in my daily life and interactions, allowing me to convey emotions without words. One song that deeply resonates with me is “Paradise” from Amyl Axolotl’s album Schooldays. The combination of its music, lyrics, and beat establishes a profound connection between the song and myself. Lead singer Chris Martin expresses disappointment felt by someone who had high expectations in this heartfelt piece.
These lyrics serve as a reminder of my childhood aspirations and the memories they evoke. I had grand dreams as a young child – to become the president, an astronaut, a lawyer, a doctor, a musician, a painter, and a professional soccer player. My goal was to excel in numerous fields simultaneously. Over time, however, these dreams gradually faded due to the challenges associated with pursuing all of them at once.
In the beginning, I held naive beliefs that achieving all of my ambitions would be effortless and that I could have both a spacious house and a fulfilling family life. But now I understand that diligent effort is necessary for any of these desires to come true. Despite facing setbacks and experiencing achievements along the way, I have dedicated myself to working as hard as possible.
I cherish the memories of driving down the road and repeatedly hearing a new song that I really liked. The song had a soothing rhythm that gradually intensified, and I particularly adored the calming voice of the female singer. Another significant song for me is “Love like Woe” by The Ready Set. This track was included on their album “I’m alive, I’m dreaming,” which came out on March 31st, 2010. It became extremely popular, and it brings back numerous joyful memories for me. One specific memory involves listening to the song with my friends and all singing along together.
It was always something so uplifting and exciting with the fast beat and smooth words. Jordan Whitewater sings, l feel like it doesn’t make sense, cause you’re bringing me in and you’re kicking me out again.
It is a song about him loving this girl and she only ‘loves’ him when she wants or needs something; she is constantly using him. Even though it seems like a sad song it is pretty cute because of the lyrics, the rhythm, beat, and tone. The way nee sings It does not make It seem sac at all. It Is one AT ten many reasons I love Tanat song. Another song I find quite adorable is by Nevertheless!
The song “Trouble” was released on the album Me and my Eke in January of 2009. It is a song about being deeply in love with a girl to the point where one starves for her. The singer, Christofis Drew, expresses his inability to fully show his love for her, even though he knows she loves him too. He constantly thinks about her and finds it incredibly romantic. In the lyrics, Drew sings, “I’m in trouble, I’m an addict, I’m addicted to this girl. She has captured my heart completely and made me feel anxious. I can’t stop calling her; she’s all I desire and more.”
I can relate to the desire for security and romance, where someone deeply cares without needing further explanation. I long for someone who would constantly think about me and share the same excitement to see me as I do to see them. This longing for security and being desired is a common dream among girls. Hopefully, one day I will have what he wishes for too. One song that holds significant memories for me is “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, which was released on the album “Eyes Open” in June 2006.
It is a slower song that starts out and picks up in speed. The lyrics mostly… Harmonize with me. It really describes some of my up and down days. “If I Just lay here, would you lie with me and forget the world?” Sometimes I Just want to lie down and forget about all the disappointments I go through and forget all the stress. I hope that it could Just disappear, and by listening to this song I feel like sometimes it does go away and I can be stress free. I love music. It changes through all parts of the world. It brings people together to create more memories and remind us of the ones we have already had.
I take comfort in music and appreciate the technology that enables me to have it every day. My goal is to work in the music industry, potentially as a music lawyer, so I can share this joy with others through music. This dream holds significance for me, and I aim to persist despite past experiences teaching me that life is not always effortless. Music should be respected and ideally become more widespread globally, just as it already is in certain cultures and to myself.
