Literature is relevant because it helps the person better comprehend what he or she is reading rather than just skimming through it. In our everyday lives, we use literature for critical thinking purposes. It helps us see ourselves see from a third-person point of view. Literary fiction creates a large amount of pure entertainment by means of books, films and melodramas.
Textbooks also offers a future for thousands of people, beginning with authors, playwrights, publishers, editors, marketers and individuals in the business world who treats the items displayed on. We’re empty, without literacy because we can not express how we feel through it.
Reading the book The Hate U Give gave me a better understanding of some situations that were mentioned in the book like for example, when Star could not trust her boyfriend or tell him things because she thought that maybe he would act just like the other people she did not believe. And, the situation where the police killed khail because he felt that he had a gun. There is a lot of pieces of literature that explain where people of color were being taken to jail because of things that they do, and the police think that they are doing something to hurt them. I, as a person, have learned a lot from all reading.
As a child, we do not know much about the different kinds of literature. The only ones that we are taught are literature on reading and documentation of plays. Writing not only is it known to represent life but can also be seen as a guideline for the observer to obey and exercise good rational judgement.

Personally, literature helps me think of things and to get a better understanding of the things I may not understand. People from all over the world use literature to help them teach them English and things that they may not know much. For people who like the poem, it can help guide that type of literature. Lyrics are a great form of documentation to help express your feelings and that to help get your opinions out rather than just keeping it in. Many people may not know that poem from of literature can help you better you in so many ways, like help with your train of thought when you are going there something.
In the research study “The Medicalization of Poverty in the Lives of Low-Income Black Mothers and Children” by Ruby Mendenhall. Ruby mentions a show where people who are incarcerated talk about their stories and how much violence they have experienced. Inmates in the Hidden American TV show tell their stories about where they came from and how they ended up in that place. Most of them talked about how they joined gangs Because they felt that they had nobody to talk to or that was there for them.
In conclusion, I believe that reading is essential because it helps better understand things that you may not understand. It is better to read than to look at a page and think that you are supposed to do something rather than just reading it. Reading helps you in many ways and can help you teach others and learn new things. Literacy helps you in different perspectives to learn how to understand better things like if you don’t understand it in writing, you can get a better understand, and I play like a visual play or a poem if you like to read poetry.
