The Hero’s story that I am going to write about is the ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in this story you will see how Bruce Wayne (batman) will come from being known as a villain in Gotham city to be coming the city’s biggest hero they ever had. In the last move of the Dark knight Bruce Wayne defeated the joker but lost what he though was most important to him his love Rachel, Bruane Wayne (Batman) took the fall for Harvey Dent murder so that the city would have an icon and could live up to. In the Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne is after losing himself and think’s that there is nothing else out there for him. It takes till Bane come’s and starts destroying Gotham City, for him to relies that he is once again needed and needs to overcome is past to save the city and put back on the mask. His hero story starts off with him trying to get back in to the game and overcoming his injures over the past years and getting back to where he was.

Before the war with bane starts he has a big argument with his butler Alfred, Alfred is the only person that Bruce Wayne has in his life and when Alfred tells him what Rachel said in the letter that she did not love him anymore and wanted to have a family with Harvey Dent, Bruce Wayne is so hurt by the whole situation he ends up falling out with Alfred and tells him to leave. It is a crucial part of the film as when he faces Bane after Alfred said Bane was to powerful, the first time he realize that he does not have what it takes to beat him, After Alfred told him that we would be better off leaving Gotham.

The first encounter Batman has with Bane is were batman finds out just how powerful Bane really is and that he is part of the league of shadows and he is trying to for fill Rassaul Gould destine, as they fight Bane break’s his spirit and body. Bane brings him to the PIT, wear he leaves him tim to Die. The pit is were Bane was born and raise, the pit is where man are sent to die. This is a huge part of the hero’s story as this is where Bruce Wayne (Batman) is in the pit he realize that he must fear death to overcome Bane. When he is in the pit he tries a number of times to make the jump but is unsuccessful each time, he can’t seem to figure out that the child of Rassaul Gould made it.

There is one main part when he is in the pit, he keeps trying to increase his body straight to make the jump, But the doctor says ‘Why increase your straight, it’s your mind makes the jump not your body, Fear is what is holding you back, if you do not fear death then how can you overcome it‘ The doctor tells him to make the jump with out the rope as the child did. This gives what Bruce Wayne needs to make the jump and puts the fear of death back in to him. When he returns to the city he must try and defuse the bomb before it goes off. The city police is about to go to war with Bane’s army. There is a part were the police are standing there waiting to be shot at with frea in there eyes with no one wanting to make a move, Bane shouts open fire, just before they shot Batman arrives in, in the Bat and opens fire on Banes army, this gives the police the straight that they need to attack. Bane and Batman meet again in the middle of the war and start fighting to try and get the upper hand, this time Batman is afraid of death and losing and is able to over come and beat bane, as he is standing over him trying to find out who has the detonator.

Bane say’s ‘I broke you, how did you escape?’ Batman reply’s by say ‘you are not the only person who can make the jump’ Bane’ I never made the jump’. Then comes a big turn in the story, Miranda Tate slips a knife into the side of Bruce Wayne , this is when we find out that Miranda is the real child of Rassual Gould called Tallia. Tallia explains that she could never forgive her father for exiling Bane until Batman killed him. Near the end of the plot you see that batman has to make a choice to sacrifice himself to save the city. He hooks the bomb up to the Bat, The police commissioner asks him why did you come back and batman replayed ‘I never left, It is like put a coat over a small boy shoulders and tell him it is going to be all right.’ Commissioner Gordon finally found out who it was, as he was the cop who put the coat over Bruce Wayne’s shoulder’s the night his parents died. As Batman fly’s the nuclear bomb out over the sea you get the impression that it is the end of the batman films.

As he goes feather and further out to the sea they show him just before the Bat blows up, as the shots zooms back and you see the Bat blow up, and you get the impression that it is the end of the story. As the show the funeral of Bruce Wayne you think it’s the end. Until they show the young cop that truns out to be Robin and when he Batman told him were the Bat lair is you start to get the hope that he is still alive. Then in the very last seen you see Alferd going to sit down to have a cup of Franco and look’s up and see’s Selene Kyle and Bruce Wayne sitting across the way. This is a great Hero’s story as you can really see that he over comes his fears to save Gotham City and find new love.
