Reality show is a platform for a person to express their talents. It is the best platform for the time being as reality show is being watched by thousands of people in front of the television. It is all about publicity. Good publicity will lead to great popularity thus making the person’s talent easily discovered. Not all of the talents came from a person from a rich family. Most of them just did not know how and where to show their talent. All they can think about was finding and digging for money to earn a living.

With the new introduction of reality show, they can easily go to the audition and show the judges what they really have. This will definitely increase their level of confidence as the judges will never judge on how they look like physically but the judges will search on how they express their true talent. When they made it through and being recognised by the public, this will change their living to better one. By; Preetika Chaudhary A while back I use to watch a reality show called The Real World. In one of the episodes I had seen a girl who went to a club one day at night and drank so much that she passed out. In The Real World shows things like that always happen. That’s how I think it affects many teens now days.

Many young people see real life people like themselves on T. V acting crazy and inappropriate behavior in public so then many think its ok to do what they see on T. V. Reality shows like MASTER CHEF, The Real World, . , feature interesting topics that take place in real life. Due to their popularity, it would be easy to assume that reality shows have had a major impact on young people. But is this really true? Junior Brenda Delgadillo doesn’t think so. “By high school, kids already know what is wrong and right. She believes high school students should already know the difference. This is somewhat true. By high school, kids learn that not all the behavior they see on reality shows is right. Senior David Yakin has a different opinion. The media is strong and has influence on high school kids. 3) Parents role in avoiding the influence. As the growing influence of these reality shows enters into the homes of the world, it is a wonder that more parents aren’t restricting the content of the shows they allow their children to watch.

Since the reality television around 2000, these shows have promoted indecent behavior, promiscuity, violence, greed, and appalling moral values. If these are lessons that we want the children of America and the world to learn, I encourage the youth to continue to soak up the media messages the shows bleed. If parents aren’t careful and instructive, they may one day see their own children running around without clothes on some reality show. As technology advances, we ontinue to remain glued to the television but perhaps it’s time for a new revolution of romanticism in which people return to the simpler joys of life without the television. As we have become more dependent on it as a guiding light, we succumb to its messages and the low quality programming it produces. A book, hike, outdoor game, or even just a conversation with someone will help break the ratings of these shows if we begin to value our lives and experiences over the latest technology and its programming.
