Old gremlin who lived under a bridge

Table of Content

Once upon a time, there was a mean old gremlin who lived under a bridge that I feared my whole life. The bridge he lived under, separated the largest plot of land with the smallest plot of land. Our family of goats lived on the most modest plot of land. Our names were Garrett, Jack, and Cam. Garrett was the smallest in size of my brothers. I am Jack, the medium size brother goat. Cam is the x-large size of my brother goats. We lived a happy life here on this small area of land, but those who dare to get to the other side never made it back. So we grew up with only one rule, “Never cross the bridge.” We followed this rule and never went to cross the bridge..until now. But one day Garrett the small size goat said hey we are running out of food here we should go to the other side. Garrett was right, my family was running out of food and my brothers and I decided we needed to be brave and cross the bridge to get food to save our family.

It was decided that Garrett would go across first because he was skin and bones being the smallest. Jack, the medium goat, and Cam, the x-large goat, just sat back and watched as the smallest goat yet the hungriest of my brother goats went to cross the bridge. He got to the bridge, “Trip, trap, trip, trap… Who dares to trip, trap, trip, trap on my bridge?’ said the Gremlin. “It is me,” Garrett, the smallest goat, “I’m going to the other side to eat that silky green grass”. ‘I’m going to eat you!’ said the Gremlin. “I was hoping you wouldn’t eat me,” said Garrett, the smallest goat said, “The next goat is even bigger than me!” The Gremlin said “You’re right, you are just skin and bone so you can go, good-bye’. Once the Jack the medium-sized goat saw that Garrett the smallest sized goat got to the other side safely he then tried to get to the other side. I began to walk up to the bridge and started to get butterflies in my stomach. I put one hoof on the bridge and started to walk….’

Trip, trap, trip, trap, Who dares to trip trap trip trap on my bridge?” growled the Gremlin. “It is me,” Jack, the medium-sized goat. “I’m just going to the other side to get big and fat.” “I’m going to eat you,” said the gremlin, “Don’t eat me! There’s a bigger one than me on his way,” I pleaded. “Ok, you can go, good- bye”. Once, Cam, my x- large-sized brother goat saw that Garrett and I made it and he went to see if he could too. He started to get on the bridge “Trip, trap, trip, trap, who dares to trip, trap, trip, trap on my bridge?’ The Gremlin said annoyed. ‘It is I the biggest billy goat” bravely announced my brother Cam. “I’m heading up to the hillside to make myself fat.’ said, Cam. “I’m going to eat you up” challenged the Gremlin. ‘Try me if you dare!’ yelled Cam……CRASH, BAM, BOOM, then Splash and KA-boom! Fish began smacking the surface and swallowed the Gremlin underwater. After Cam, the largest-sized billy goat beats the Gremlin. We all lived happily ever after. I hope you enjoyed my narrative of The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
