Did you know?… Cashmere just released their new product. Cashmere Envirocare, is made of 100% recycled fibre and is also 100% soft! This surely shows that Cashmere cares for the environment…Do you? All of us can save Earth from running out of paper and other resources, But most people don’t know how to accomplish this. In my opinion, recycling is the best way to make the Earth a better place. Unfortunately, this method is not so popular these days. There are many people who don’t understand that recycling is not for the present, it’s for the future! Recycling is a common term which means “process which uses used materials into new products to save resources and energy”. Papers, tin-cans, aluminum-cans, bottles, broken computers, cars, scrap iron, plastic, batteries, electrical machines.

Etc, All of these materials can be reused and transformed into useful materials. According to environmentalists, each person on average releases 2 kilograms of trash each day! Nowadays recycling and composting are considered to be the best methods to reduce the amount of waste. I think the best/valuable benefit recycling gives is the reduction of using fresh material sand saves resources for our future generation. For example, instead of making paper from wood you can make paper from recycled paper. Another advantage is that it reduces air pollution and water pollution. The burning process creates smoke and releases a huge amount of carbon dioxide, therefore it pollutes the Earth’s atmosphere. It is proven that recycling actually reduces carbon dioxide 10-15 tons a year.

    Less Trash

Paper is the biggest category of trash, so paper recycling can extend the time it takes for landfills to reach their capacity. The American Forest and Paper Association estimates that recycling a ton of paper, saves 3.3 cubic yards of space in landfills.

    More Trees

Every ton of paper recycled saves fifteen – seventeen trees from being cut down, According to the USEPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency), Trees absorb and store carbon, so the larger the forest, the more carbon dioxide gets removed from the society. Cutting down trees for paper-making has the opposite effect of releasing more greenhouse gases.

    Energy & Water
Mills that turn paper waste into new paper use less energy and resources than mills that start with virgin wood. Recycling mills typically cost you about 50 % less water and 40% less energy. Making a single ton of standard office paper from recycled paper saves 4,000 kilowatts of energy and 7,000 gallons of water! When considering all of the economic and environmental impacts, the choice on whether or not to recycle depends on you. Whether you decide it is right to recycle because of the environmental impact or because of the money range. As you know, our world is headed to an environmental disaster. Recycling is one of the best ways ordinary people, like you and me can help prevent this from happening. After listening to all the advantages of recycling… WILL YOU RECYCLE?

Should recycling be mandatory persuasive essay?
After examining the environmental and economical effects of recycling, research shows that recycling should be mandatory because it conserves natural resources, saves energy, and reduces pollution caused by waste. One of the biggest impacts that recycling has is conserving natural resources.
What would happen if recycling was mandatory?
If everyone in America recycled just one plastic bottle, those materials could make more than 54 million T-shirts or about 6.5 million fleece jackets, according to Repreve data. If everyone recycled one aluminum can, 295 million new aluminum cans could be made, according to Aluminum Association data.
    Why recycling should mandatory?
It also uses up a lot of water and energy. When we recycle, we extract less, which conserves many of our precious (and finite!) natural resources, including trees, water, oil and metals. The more we recycle, the more we protect our resources!
