Jake Sully, is a replacement for his twin brother who died, was asked to collect biological samples in the forest with another scientist Norm Spellman and research head, Dr. Grace Augustine. Being attacked by a predator called Thanator, he was left behind the forest and was rescued by a female Na’vi named Neytiri. He was believed to be favored by the mother goddess Eywa, whom the Na’vi worship and was asked by Mo’at, Neytiri’s mother and spiritual leader to learn their ways with the help of Neytiri.

Meanwhile, when the chief heard the setup Jake had with the Na’vi, he offered Jake treatment for his paralysis in exchange for all the information. The RDA wants to destroy the Hometree, which is believed to be Eywa’s dwelling place by the Omaticaya clan. Under the Hometree is a massive deposit of Unobtanium.

As Jake continues to learn the Na’vi ways, he was also falling in love with the lifestyle the Omaticaya’s have as well as to Neytiri. Just when everything is set for the destruction of the Hometree, Jake, together with Dr. Augustine and Spellman, decided to take the RDA’s plan. They warned the Na’vi about the invasion, losing their trust for Jake. In order for him to regain the Na’vi’s trust, he tamed the Toruk, a powerful flying predator. For them to defeat RDA’s army, they united all the warriors from other Na’vi clans. After successfully protecting the Hometree, Jake decided to reunite with his avatar for good by converting himself. He did it for the love of the Na’vi and for Neytiri.

This movie is for the new generation. Everyone can relate to it not only because of the animations but because of the lesson it has imparted to its viewers. Mainly, the movie is about the love of nature and greed. Man, thinking that he can do anything to nature, abuses the natural resources. Little that we know, there is another life form that needs nature in order to survive. This film has taught us to respect nature and just by pursuing the goal, everyone can unite and have the power to defend it from those who want to abuse it.
