“He found himself understanding the wearisomely of this life, where every path was an improvisation and a considerable part of one’s waking life was spent watching one’s feet”(page 76, line 7)This is great example of author style as its a very good sentence that shows his style of writing which is to get the point across very strong as he shows in the quote above, he also makes a very good word choice to describe how Ralph over with astonishment and figured out that everything happens for a reason.
After the quote is said by Ralph he stops, and remembers that first enthusiastic exploration as though it were part of a brighter childhood then after smiled. “The thing is-fear can’t hurt you any more than a dream. There aren’t any beasts to be afraid Of on this island” ( page 82, line 39)As jack said very direct at the kids that were scared of this monster creature thing, he calls them out by after saying “serve you right if something did get you, you useless lot of cry-babies! This is an example of tone as this was happening jack didn’t have he conch so he wasn’t able to talk out loud, but as the story said “Jack took no notice…. ” So this also tells us that we was very straight forward and at one point yelled to get his point across because as he the only one that wants to kill this creature as the beginning of this story but later on doesn’t believe this monster isn’t real.
He is very mad because all these kids think about is the monster that isn’t real. “What I mean is… Maybe it’s us. (Page 89, line 1 7)As this quote is said it’s during the meeting in which the boys consider the question of the beast. As there keep talking about this, one little has proposed the terrifying idea that the beast may hide in the ocean during the day and emerge only at night, and the boys argue about whether the beast might actually exist. As there keep talking about if the monster is real or not, This quote is said that brings a lot of arguments “maybe he means it’s some sort of ghost” which later on jack was unaccountably angry and says mean words to piggy and saying. Who cares what you believe in-Patty” Piggy replies you don’t have the conch. This shows that people aren’t just going by he conch but everything is getting out of hand. There no origination it’s all a mess. This is all an example of emerging themes. “We know who ought to say things, what good did Simon do speaking, or bill, or Walters? Its time some people knew they’ve got to keep quiet and leave deciding things to the rest of us” (page 102, line 1)This quote is said by jack he is just not angry but he done letting people talk when there don’t have no knowledge to talk there just talk to be a part of it, as he say.
Before he says the quote shown above he also says “We don’t need the conch anymore” jack shouted! The actions that jack has been doing or things he’s saying would show us that he tired of having to decide with other people he wants to be his own boss and make his own decisions alone, without anyone’s help. Without jack being like he is which is very brave, the story wouldn’t have been as interesting and also things that happened wouldn’t of have happened if he wasn’t as brave as he is.
This is an example of point of view. “One heave,” cried jack, exulting and-whew- (page 1 06, last line) While this quote is said there are trying to climb the mountain, this is an example of throng diction, This word slandered out to be because as jack the kid we know all he is brave and never wants to give up and is the most brave one out of all of them but for him to cry says something… “Can’t you see the mountains? There’s no signal showing. There may be a ship out there, are you all off your rockets? (Page 108, line 34)This quote is said by Ralph, you can tell jack wouldn’t say this because Ralph after that says I’m chief and Ralph is chief but also Ralph is not even close to the amount of braveness jack does.
This would be an example of emerging themes because by Ralph says that it tell the deader that he might think time is running out if there don’t help soon there might all die. We know this because as the quote says he want to be at place were the ships that may come by the island could see and could come help you. The messages that the reader get is that he not really brave it’s as like he wants to give up. “We can’t leave the littlest alone with piggy, not all night” (page 117,nine 8)This is example of point of view as jack said the quote shown above it shows that he think you can’t trust piggy, even that he can’t even take care of himself so how could you trust him. This is a good example but as there think there can’t trust him he’s the only one that thinks out of all the kids, yeah he’s fat and there give him a hard time but out of all of them he’s the one that thinks with his brain before thinking about it, not like the others.
This point of view is effective to the plot of the story because there really can trust him, but in the story there say he’s stupid and all but as a reader you think he’s a nerd. “Kill the pig! Cut his throat! Kill the pig! Bash him in! “(Page 114,nine 38) As jack and his tribe (the hunters) singed this shows that there ere very very excited to eat and because there killed a pig, there were so excited there took his head off and put it on a stick. Also this showed that there were good hunter, jack always hunted alone or with his group, there celebrated when there killed a pig there even invited Ralph and them. This is an example of effective dictation there not just excited to eat there came together and even invited Ralph and piggy to eat with them, that shows that at the beginning Ralph like jack but jack didn’t. But for jack to invite him, he much likes him a little bit. “Tonight we’re having a feast. We’ve killed a pig and we’ve got meat.
You can come and eat with us if you like”(page 140, line 32) As jack and his hunter paint themselves up and get a pig and have fest, and are nice to invite piggy and Ralph because there probably didn’t eat that day. This is an example of emerging themes which makes them come together and eat as a big happy group Of people and not Ralph and jack not arguing or fighting. Everyone’s just happy. “There isn’t anyone to help you. Only me. And I’m the Beast…. Fancy thinking the Beast was something you could hunt and kill! You knew, didn’t you? I’m part of you?

These words that Simon say are backed up from from Chapter 5 that say perhaps the beast is only the boys themselves. This idea of the evil on the island being within the boys it shows innate human savagery. The Lord of the Flies identifies is the beast and also tells Simon that it exists within all human beings Simon didn’t know what to do and tries to convey it to the rest of the boys, but the evil and savagery, kill him.
