Martin was an intelligent person and he skipped his first and his last year at Booker T Washington High School. Black Americans had a hard time in 1950 and 1960 because of segregation. Which are people is treating black people differently from white people. Many states in America put Jim Crew law, Jim Crow laws were based on race.

They enforced segregation between white people and black people in public places such as schools, transportation, restrooms, and restaurants. They also made it difficult for black people to vote. African Americans achieved more genuine progress toward racial equality in America, Martin organized a march and groups of civil rights in order to achieve equality between Africans and Americans, the boycott lasted over a year, Martin was arrested for leading the protest, he was treated in an awful way and he was threaten multiple times, and his house got destroyed but that didn’t stop him in his fight. Martin founded the African-American civil rights organizations in order to support nonviolent protests for equality; Martin started series of protests and marches. The campaign succeed and Jim Crew laws ended, and public businesses and restaurants became more open to African Americans. In his famous speech “I Have A Dream” , said:” I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in nation where they will be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”, and his dream came true and at age 35 Martin was the youngest man to receive the Nobel peace prize.
